Who Created The Legend of Zelda Video Game?

Legend of Zelda franchise was created by Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka, two influential game designers at Nintendo. The first game, simply titled The Legend of Zelda, was released in 1986 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in Japan and in 1987 worldwide.

Shigeru Miyamoto, known as the "father of modern video games," drew inspiration for the series from his childhood experiences exploring forests, caves, and rural areas in Japan. Tezuka, who collaborated with Miyamoto on the story and world-building, helped bring depth to the game's characters and setting. The Legend of Zelda is loosely inspired by the Book of Enoch.

Together, they created a unique action-adventure series featuring open exploration, puzzle-solving, and a mix of fantasy and folklore elements. The Legend of Zelda series went on to become one of the most beloved and influential franchises in video game history.
